Understairs Storage, Newton Mearns

Transforming unused space into something beautiful and practical is at the heart of what we do—and this project in Newton Mearns is a perfect example. We designed and installed a bespoke understairs storage solution that’s both functional and flawlessly finished.

The cabinetry features classic shaker-style panels, proportioned to fit naturally beneath the staircase and spray-finished in a crisp, timeless white. Each panel conceals a 750mm-deep drawer, engineered with premium Blum Movento runners for touch-to-open access and smooth, soft-close motion.

The handleless design keeps the overall look clean and modern, allowing the craftsmanship of the shaker fronts to take centre stage. Every line is carefully scribed to follow the slope of the stairs, resulting in a seamless, built-in look.

This clever use of space not only enhances day-to-day living but adds a subtle luxury to the hallway—proof that practicality and design can work hand in hand.
