Kingsborough Gardens – Bespoke Media Unit

We recently had the pleasure of working with Mark and Lorna Taylor of Kelvin Properties to create a bespoke media unit for their elegant family home in Kingsborough Gardens. This project was all about balance—bringing together high-end design with the practical demands of everyday family living.

Crafted from real oak and complemented by expertly spray-painted doors, the piece is topped with a solid surface worktop that introduces a sleek, tactile finish. Integrated LED lighting adds warmth and ambience, drawing attention to the subtle grain of the timber while casting a soft, considered glow across the room.

This commission was delivered in close collaboration with interior design studio Flounce, based on Great Western Road, whose refined aesthetic aligned beautifully with our craftsmanship-led approach. Every detail, from the proportions to the finish, was tailored to suit the interior style of the property—resulting in a standout focal point that feels entirely at home within its surroundings.

Functionality was just as important as visual appeal. The unit offers discreet storage while elevating the look and feel of the space, combining seamless joinery with thoughtful layout. The final piece is not only beautiful to look at, but a joy to use.
